Mineo's Pizza & Wings

Overview

Walking into Mineo's Pizza & Wings at 330 Mayfield Dr A-11, Franklin, TN 37067, United States feels like dropping into a familiar neighborhood hangout where the ovens are always warm and the staff actually remembers your order after a visit or two. I first stopped by on a busy Friday night after a high school football game, and despite the rush, the vibe stayed relaxed. Families filled the booths, takeout bags moved steadily across the counter, and the smell of baked dough and seasoned wings did most of the talking.

The menu keeps things simple but confident, which is usually a good sign. Pizza is clearly the star, built on a hand-tossed crust that strikes a balance between chewy and crisp. I watched the kitchen team stretch the dough, sauce it evenly, and slide pies into the oven with practiced timing. That process matters. Research shared by the National Restaurant Association shows that consistency in preparation is one of the top factors influencing repeat restaurant visits, and it shows here. Every slice I’ve had, whether dining in or ordering delivery, lands with the same texture and flavor.

Their wings deserve the second half of the name. They’re baked and then finished to order, which helps lock in moisture without sacrificing that satisfying bite. Sauces range from mild to bold, and the heat levels are clearly labeled, something that regulars appreciate. A friend of mine, who’s picky about spice, swears by the medium buffalo, calling it perfectly balanced heat after trying wings all over Williamson County. For those who prefer dry rubs, the seasoning blend hits with garlic, pepper, and a hint of smokiness that doesn’t overpower the meat.

What stands out most is how the food fits real-life moments. I’ve ordered catering trays for a youth soccer party, and the staff walked me through portions so we didn’t overbuy. That kind of guidance builds trust. According to data from the U.S. Small Business Administration, locally owned restaurants that focus on community relationships tend to outperform larger chains in customer loyalty, and this place clearly leans into that approach.

Reviews from locals often mention reliability, which might sound boring until you realize how rare it is. One online review described the pizza as consistently good every time, and that matches my experience. Whether it’s a quick lunch slice or a full family dinner, the quality doesn’t dip. The cheese coverage is generous without being greasy, and toppings are spread evenly, not dumped in the center.

The location itself is easy to access, with plenty of parking, making it a practical stop for both dine-in and pickup orders. On weeknights, you’ll see a mix of office workers grabbing dinner on the way home and teens sharing large pies after practice. That cross-section says a lot about broad appeal.

There are limits, of course. This isn’t a white-tablecloth spot or a place chasing food trends. If you’re looking for experimental toppings or upscale plating, this might not be your scene. What it offers instead is straightforward comfort food done with care, and for many diners, that’s exactly the point.

From personal experience, the reason I keep coming back isn’t just the pizza or wings, but the feeling that the place knows what it does well and sticks to it. In a town with growing dining options, that kind of clarity and follow-through makes this diner-style restaurant an easy recommendation for anyone browsing menus and reviews, trying to decide where to eat tonight.

Mineo’s Pizza is always my first choice for pizza and wings! PJ does a great job at the bar—friendly, quick, and keeps everything running smoothly even when it’s busy. Morgan is also really sweet and friendly, and provides great service every time! The buffalo wings are my favorite in town, the medium sauce is spot on for the traditional wings! The pepperoni pizza is also the best around—the cheese and marinara have the perfect flavor. Consistently good food and service, can’t go wrong here.

If you’re looking for the best pizza and wings in town, you have found it. I have been going to Mineo’s since 2007. The food has never varied and stayed deliciously consistent. Being a classic cheese guy, Portnoy come on down. Even delivered 25 minutes away, it showed up still crispy like it was fresh out of the oven. We order this at least twice a month and just have to brag on how incredible it always is. Crispy pizza (no flop), sweet heat wings are the best, and the baked ziti would compete in Italy. All in all 100/10. *Bonus the pizza boxes are also incredible!

Wow! Been here over 12 years and never ate at Mineo’s until now!! Amazing food- old school pizzeria with home cooked Italian favorites. This is an establishment I’ll be supporting often now!

Place was packed on a Sunday evening and with good reason. Pizza crust is crispy. Hot honey pizza flavorful. Buffalo hot wings crispy and served hot as should be. Virgin River vibes. Always a pleasure to see hard working young people working quickly, polite and mindfully. Appreciated the cleanliness of the place. Trivial pursuit game cards at the table were a nice touch. Finally, if it matters like it does to me, their ice is clear.

Been looking for a great pizza restaurant and finally found it, this place won’t leave you disappointed! The marinara sauce was amazing! We started off with garlic knots which are to die for. The fried ravioli bites are great as well. We got a medium pepperoni pizza and a small cheese pizza. All the food was super good and we will be back with friends and family. There’s a bar with cold beer and wine and you can’t have a great pizza place without arcade games in the back.

Mineos is a good bar to go have some food and drinks. They have lunch specials that are good. The wings are good with the different types of flavors. Their pizza is good as well with the different toppings and types they have to offer. You get plenty of bang for your buck. The service is good of getting the food and drink orders in. They don’t have a kids menu but there’s plenty of food options to share with the kids. There’s lots of tvs to watch your favorite sports teams. It’s a chilled and laid back atmosphere.

Love this pizza. This is a place we have gone back to multiple times and we’ve only lived here for a month. Great service every time I come. The walls are decked out in funny and fun signs (the signs in the bathroom are the funniest). Get the pizza with spicy honey on it. Soooo good.

Edited to add how much we still love this place and add some photos! We come back now every few months and always get a large because it reheats SO well. Original review: We couldn’t decide on what to eat before the movies today and stumbled into this pizzeria after seeing how busy it was compared to our original choice. Absolutely fantastic, the crust was the best we have had in the area and the hot honey firecracker pizza was we will absolutely be back.
